Rita Wuebbeler

Rita Wuebbeler is a German-born intercultural trainer and management consultant with over sixteen years of living and working experience in the U.S., the U.K., Spain and Luxembourg. Her specialities are cross-cultural training design and delivery, team-building for diverse workforces, and cross-cultural business consulting. She works with multicultural groups to facilitate change and awareness processes with regard to global business strategy and outlook.

She holds a Master's degree equivalent in Applied Linguistics for English and Spanish from Mainz University, Germany. She successfully completed four summer programs on "Cross-Cultural Training Design for International Business", "Building Diverse Teams", "Experiential Learning Strategies for Multicultural Teams" and "Intercultural Conflict Resolution" at the Summer Institute for Intercultural Training in Portland, Oregon.

Ms. Wuebbeler has participated and presented at international and regional intercultural conferences in North America, Asia and Europe on sexual orientation in the workplace, designing training for global teams, German-American cultural differences, etc.

Ms. Wuebbeler is currently owner and president of INTERGLOBE Cross-Cultural Business Services, an international training and consulting firm assisting companies and individuals in the U.S. and Europe with their needs in cross-cultural communication as well as team-building for multicultural teams. She conducts and designs cross-cultural sensitivity training, pre-departure and repatriation workshops, team- building programs and business briefings for a variety of countries in Europe, Latin America and Asia.

She is an active member of the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD) and a board member of the the Society for Intercultural Training, Education and Research (SIETAR) USA. She speaks frequently on the topic of cross-cultural communication at colleges and universities and contributes articles on cross-cultural business aspects and multicultural team-building to international business publications. She is fluent in English, German and Spanish and conducts training in those languages.
