Liliana Cantú
Liliana Cantú is a native Mexican and founder of IC Mexico, a relocation and cross-cultural training firm delivering services throughout Mexico since 1998. She is also a freelance trainer and consultant in the intercultural field.
Liliana has a BS degree in Marketing and a Masters Degree in Communication with an emphasis on Intercultural Communication.
She has professional experience in the fields of human resources, public relations, relocation services, cross-cultural and intercultural training, as well as personal intercultural experience in several countries including the United States, Canada, Venezuela, Sweden, Denmark, Germany and Portugal.
Liliana has participated as a speaker and planning committee member at international symposiums, and has delivered and coordinated cross-cultural training seminars and resource sessions to national and international audiences, including participants from countries such as Germany, the United States, Spain, Colombia, Peru and Belgium. In several of these assignments she performed as a freelance instructor for companies such as Cendant, GMAC, Language and Culture and Cultural Awareness International. She recently participated as an intern in 2003’s Summer Institute of Intercultural Communication.
Liliana also performs as a part time university professor at one of the most prestigious institutions in Latin America: the ITESM (commonly known as Monterrey Tech). Liliana teaches intercultural communication courses to national and international students, in Spanish and English, and is currently responsible for creating and delivering new intercultural skills development workshops at ITESM.
