Osvaldo Agatiello
Dr. Agatiello is a Professor of International Law and Economics at Geneva School of Diplomacy and International Relations. He has been a consultant on enabling environments for small and medium enterprise development in Afghanistan, Sustainable Livelihoods Unit, United Nations Development Programme, a consultant on trade facilitation, Division for Services Infrastructure for Development and Trade Efficiency, United Nations Conference on Trade and Development and a consultant on the multilateral trading system, International Trade Centre UNCTAD/WTO, Division of Technical Cooperation Coordination.
He has also been a consultant on corporate social responsibility and trade, Ministry of Economic Affairs, The Netherlands and Trade Directorate, Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, a consultant on corporate contributions to economic and social development, Division on Investment, Technology and Enterprise Development, United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, and a consultant on ethics in capital markets and corporate social responsibility, Sustainable Development Department, Inter-American Development Bank.
He received a Ph. D. in 1990 from The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University, administered with the cooperation of Harvard University, Medford, Massachusetts and has law degrees from Argentina. He currently resides in Geneva and speaks Spanish, English, French, Italian and Portuguese. |
